I'm a Catholic Christian, and I'm not ashamed to spread the gospel as Jesus commanded us to do.

I get mocked, ridiculed, and cursed by liberal atheists, agnostics, and radical feminists (and even by many nominal Catholics and Protestants).

By conservative anti-Catholic Protestant fundamentalists, I get called an idol worshiper, a pagan, and some even have called me Satan.

But, I don't mind because I know that these accusations are not true, and Jesus said we will be blessed if we suffer these things for our witness to His gospel. I don't have any bad feelings for those who, by no fault of their own, might be invincibly ignorant of Jesus and His relationship to the Catholic Church.

If Satan is not attacking you, it means he doesn't think you're a threat. Satan wouldn't be persecuting you if he didn't know that you are a man of God and determined to live for Him.

You could look at Job, an amazing man of God, who God had such faith in that He allowed Satan to bring unspeakable torments upon him. The Bible says God will never give us more than we can handle. =)

What if, just what if you're really wrong? Have you thought about that?

While I think that you are admirable in sharing the message of Jesus Christ you have stated somethings that are questionable and even wrongly interpreted.
I also think you place to much emphasis on Mary and not enough on GOD the Father.

I would be interested in knowing what IS... Jesus Christ relationship to the catholic church since I am ignorant of his relationship with your church. I won't deny that. The thing is you make some great points but you never back it by sourses. Is that because you're concerned that someone might just be able to disprove you and Your beliefs.

I have some very interesting things that I have read and will say that as far as I'm concerned there are only a few religions out there that can possibly be true. All the other religions and churches out there have been taken from those by men who didn't like one thing or the other about the original church, and thought to change it to make it fit them and their needs. While they have some truths they don't have all truths and that is why there are so many problems.

In closing I will say that I do agree with your first question, I have always joked about it seems like when I am living a focused life on my gospel and trying hard to be a good person who keeps the commandments that Satan tries his hardest. He know if he doesn't throw a wrench in things that I will continue forward in my faith. It is when we face those challenges that Satan gives us that he has the best chance of winning us over since those are the times that people tend to turn away from GOD and curse him. People who are not living a GOD fearing life or don't believe don't face half the challenges that GOD fearing people do because he's already got them in his grasp. This is just my opinion and not meant to offend anyone.

Well, it will come to a time where we Christians will be killed for our faith, but as of right now, that's the best we can do is jut to present the Gospel no matter what. We live in a time where almost anywhere you are, you have your free choice to believe what you want. I think that just because one isn't takin heat that they aren't living their faith. But like I said, a time's coming where that will be the case.

I am also Catholic Christian, and I agree with you. God wants you to fight for him, and if no one mocked you you wouldn't be a true Christian.

Jesus did say, "Blessed are you who are persucuted because of me."
I take that to heart, and I have had my share of mockery.

Definitly spread the word. We need more people like you who want to live their faith instead of going through the motions. Keep it up!

Well, the way I look at it is: "taking heat" is an indication that you're doing something right...lol (so, I guess I'm in agreement with you.)

Satan doesn't have to go after the ones in his own 'camp'...so take encouragement over the fact that you're receiving ridicule, etc.

Not only this, but Jesus said in the Bible: "in this world you will have 'trouble'"...so, it only goes to reason - that this sort of stuff will happen.

God Bless.

feelin the heat for good reason is great but do not be confused. if you are not feelin the heat it does not mean that you are a faliure or that you are not a true christian.
people have different ways of evangelizing. if you are one to very out there then do it and if you are more timid and share with people on a more personal way then do it. because God has given each of us different skills and we function as different parts of one body.
keep up the good work soldier

Many times people aren't feeling the heat because it's not their time. It is true that we must experience hardship in order to understand and build faith. However, we must always give him the honor and praise regardless of the hardships that we endure, because he is eternally the great "I am". Tennille

Taking heat doesn't always mean you are following Christ. Paul was trying to kill Christians. He believed he was following God but in reality he wasn't. When he found out the truth he turned
