Are you asking them if they want you to and they say "i don't care"??
If so then don't call. You shouldn't have to ask.
If you are on the phone and he beeps in and you ask, can i call you back and he says "I don't care." then that is ok.

I wouldn't bother, myself, with someone that said, "I don't care." to me that would mean "I don't want you to, but if you really must, then I won't be mean to you. I'm too big a p___y to tell you what I really think."

Yes, it's that tough exterior, they're trying to play it cool. Those games in the beginning, they can be tricky, like they're cool, in control, but in fact is that either they like being called, or they have no trouble having a woman make the first move.

Listen to the tone of his voice, he usually means yes he wants you to call. You can hear it if he is just trying to be nice or if he really means it.
