Yes it's okay, but if they object then stop. If you think they are going to object, don't tell them but, rather, include in your prayers that God will send someone they would be willing to receive the gospel of Christ. Then, once they are saved, you can let them know you were praying for them.

If you feel led to. It may be you want to pray for them and don't want to call them and tell them. If it is someone you see or on a message board, chatroom, etc then you could always say "prayers and well wishes (or good luck vibes), etc" coming your way. If you don't talk the person on a regular basis or whatever, then just pray and keep it to yourself. We probably have prayers coming to us from an unlikely source that we are unaware of.

I think it is OK to tell someone your praying for them. Prayer can do amazing things, as Christians it's one of the most powerful tools we have. Pray about it and go from there. If you do decide to tell them just come right out and do it. Don't get offended by what they might say. LET GO AND LET GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you and Person are NOT on good terms, don't tell them. You may cause unneccessary strife between the two of you.
Just be honest with yourself on the reasons WHY you feel you need to tell them----is it cuz you care or is it cuz you just want to rub hisher nose in it and cause them more pain, sorta like a revenge thing?

Yes, you should let a person know that you are praying for them. It is especially good to pray for people we have differences with, God wants us to forgive and pray for the person we have the conflict with. Thats why we have forgiveness, when we are able to give it.

You don't have to tell them. You can just pray that God will open their eyes and seek him. If you tell them you're praying for them it might make them feel better about you and you could become friends.

Yes but don't make an issue out of it. The bible tells us to pray for our enemies. Even for officials in government...

It is not essential to let one know you are praying for them. Prayer is communication with God.

WHen that person hears that it is like a put down statement and should be said to a person who would welcome it. The bible recommends prayer that is not boastful or proud, and in a quiet place.
