if we ignore certain situations because of the oil crisis, we're still taking sides "because of oil".
Liberals love to accuse us of only caring about oil. But the truth is, they themselves care about it too (they're only harping about the prices every five minutes).
The truth is, Americans depend on oil, all of us. You guys out there griping about gas prices, when was the last time you walked to the store? I think, if you're not willing to conserve oil, don't complain about "the war" that makes it cost so much.

If there is a war to be fought - let it be there

The issue of oil and terrorism are not as close as you think. Terrorism and our war against islamic jihadist and extremist has very very little to do with oil. These people are bent on our destruction and recognize that our oil supplies might be a good target, but that is about the only relation. The United States now buys more oil from Mexico and south America then it does from the middle east. Its just not the issue there; its one of survival. If we left the islamic extremist unchecked they'd attack us again and again until we we're unable to respond. Then they'd kill us all. That is their mission, and though some might want to put their heads in the sand and doubt it - its real.

Our number once source of oil now is Canada. We still get some from the Middle East, but we are not as dependent on them for it as we have been in the past. And I'm willing to bet in the future that we won't need them at all. We're already conducting research on biodeisel fuel and alternative fuel sources.

Name one place where we are actively engaged where it is not about oil.

Osama cares about oil too ya know... these people are all in the same club and guess what? That club treats those outside of it, you and me, Palestinians, Zapatistas, the poor of all countries the same... like ****.

It is pretty basic.

walking to the store is not the answer... sorry.

we need to make these people respond to our needs by any means necessary or we will continue on the suicidal path we are on. Questioning the war is a good start... don't act on "the clubs" behalf by detering people from trying to find out who is ******* them OK... because they are ******* you too, comprende?

Well we may care about oil, but we don't start wars over it! We don't get 2,718 military killed over it. One today so far!

Don't try blaming us for your illegal attack on a sovereign nation pre emptively! It's all yours baby!

And gas wasn't $4.00 a gallon before Iraq!
