you go out with a guy he always says i just want to be friends.....but then you dont really become 'friends' why is that?

thats a mans way of trying to let you down easily and not hurt you. some men are pigs that way, but not all of them.

It's just a guys way of letting the girl down easy, or so he thinks. He's just not interested in her, as a girlfriend, but doesn't want to hurt her feelings.
It is almost the same, as telling a girl, after a date, that he will give her a call, and never does.
I think honesty would be nice, but sometimes, we think that by saying those things, the girl won't be hurt. But I know that you girls usually are.

because when a guy says they just want to be friends , it means they are not interested in you at all. i dont know really why they do that but that is what it means anyway.
