I believe that you have to believe in God and ask for forgiveness for your sins and ask Jesus to save your soul. Then and only then will you go to Heaven and not to hell. If that sounds 'smug and vile' , then I am sorry. I can handle someone feeling that way about me. I am going to Heaven when I die and all these earthly things will pass away. Thank You, Jesus!

Definitely. I mean, in every religion there are the extremists that think that someone of another religion is going to hell. If everyone is right, everyone is going to hell, which isn't true. I mean, is it right that a serial killer could go to heaven in an extreme Christians mind if he repented before death, but Gandhi, because he was another religion would go to hell? No.

God is Who He is, God's Word say what It says. people can choose to believe and follow God's Word or not , That is totally up to them. The Word of God says that there is only one way to come to The Father which is in Heaven. there is no way around The Truth , like it or not. Hell is a big place , room for lots of lost souls with a wide road leading there. it's up to each and everyone of us what we will choose to believe, so think and believe what you will, that up to you. if you don't like the whole going to hell thing , then tell yourself that it won't happen . maybe you can trick yourself in to thinking it won't , but God's Word says what It says. I just use the bible & what it says. I can not tell them "yes you are going" but I can point them where the word of God says whom is going to Heaven & who is not allowed in heaven, but this is your walk with the creator no matter what religion your in & it is he alone to make the last jusgement if you go to Heaven, paradise(another level of the heaven(s)) or hell.

yes it is....no one should judge or proclaim what they think would happen to someone else...we are all ignorant when it comes to heaven or hell...we dont know the truth...we guess and believe what we think will happen...so does religion....no one religion or practice in beliefs is right...judgment day is upon us all...we should stop thinking about what can happen and think about what we know is factual instead.....i hate ignorant people

I hate it when people do that. I recently lived in Japan and I had tons of Buddhist friends but all my Christian friends said that they were going to hell! But my Buddhist friends were nicer and more honest then ANY of my Christian friends. Isn't that ironic?
