It's making me break out on my forehead.

The best solution I have found for cleaning the helmet is after a ride, hose it off with the outside hose and then hang it out to dry. That seems to work the best.

if the pad that touches your forehead is removeable, well, take it off and hand wash it with soap and water. You could try the laundry but you may never see it again. (Dam sock thieves). If it is not removeable, then you might try rinseing it under some water and leaving it to dry off hanging in the shower. Some companies sell replacements for their pads. I know its not much, but hope it helped.

There's a product in Colorado Cyclist's website---( www.coloradocyclist.com) specified for helmet cleanliness---its a spray-type and VERY useful....CHECK IT OUT.

My helment smells worse than my exaust. My gloves are close.

try drinking clorox instead of water.
