Everyone says we aren't against legals.Everyone says Its not about nationality or skin its about being legal or illegal.The fact is people are resistent to other races and nationalities and they hide behind words like illegal to mask their fears and racisim.

The Minutemen is not only a group that opposes immigration but organizes armed vigilantes to patrol and “protect” the U.S. border.
The Minutemen are the new Ku Klux Klan. Whatever form it takes and wherever it is found, racism and bigotry have to be met with our full opposition. The city council in El Paso, Texas recently passed a resolution opposing the activities of the Minutemen. They are total cowards, they need police protection everywhere they go so the (always outnumbering) immigrant rights activists don't stomp them. Immigrant rights activists in LA are driving out the bigots... and this is what never gets reported. Have no fear. These fools are the same fools, the KKK was defeated and so will they be soon enough.

People need to wake up and end the practice of stooping to scapegoating immigrants instead of facing the real issues.

You pose an intelligent question about current events and ENLIGHTENMENT gave a substantial and factual answer. However, some things never change. It is evident that the prejudice will live forever. History tells us that. We understand the likes of the personality who calls her/himself Sugar Pie is really an angry, uneducated and ignorant child from a trailer park right out of "Deliverance." These types are homegrown; theirs is a learned behavior repeating the modalities of their parents, etc. etc. This type will always exist, because their inferiority leads them to become bullys. How else would they feel superior? They give you trite answers and call any one of Hispanic descent a criminal forgetting, we Americans don't need criminal help from other countries. The sins of the Oklahoma Bombing by McVay, the schools shot up by students, the sexual predators from Florida, the latest bikini-killer/rapist on national news and on, and on are largely White, Legal, Americans. Most of the kids responding here like the character Sugar Pie are little "terrororist in training".....so, where will these conflictive minds go when the issue is over? No where. Under a new disguise they will create a new issue and the Sugar Pie's of the world will continue to think it is "sugar" they spread! It's a great farce. Thanks for the question.

Yeah pretty much. Especially reading all these comments that people leave but have no idea what is even going on. I highly doubt that idiot up there knows that the government doesn't pay hospital bills or how about the guy who says this isnt a racial issue...ok so you mean that the thousands of immigrants from other nations matter too, but we just pick on the mexicans because...??? Sadly you are trumping up the race card for a political issue that has nothing to do with race. It is people like you that are the racist and your efforts to label those who believe in the rule of law as such will fail.

If the 12 million people are granted amnesty they may become citizens, but they we're still once illegal immigrants and will be looked upon as a group of people that have no respect for our land, our laws and our ways (and even culture).

I agree that the term "illegal" is simply a mask for people's own racism. Ultimately though, the whole of the American continents are primarily latino and it will be impossible for the US to ignore that fact. Like it or not, we're here to stay.
