Why are the bible thumpers so full of hate ?

Because, to them, all that's not in accordance word for word with the bible is different. Difference is thus evil. They're scared.

It depends on whom they are. Not all people claiming to be Christians , actually ARE christias. It in their fruitage. As for bible thumping, some people go overboard & that part gets annoying as if forcing a horse to drink. Me personally I show them the bible, the word of God , but if they show no interest in it I do not push the issue, I pray God will open their hearts. So not ALL Christians are bible thumpers.

Is anybody that is a Christianc full of hate? NO, he/she is NOT!

Do you enjoy or get a kick out of using disparaging remarks to talk about people you don't care about? Who don't agree with you or you don't agree with them? Could it be that you are jealous that Christians "believe" in something that is greater than us?

On the other hand, Are there 'some' people who are hateful? Of course there are. Are those 'hateful' people ALL Christians? no, of course not. They could be just like you? me? whomever.

Why? Because God, who loves us so much, gave us FREE WILL. You see, He even gave it to you who choses to use this disparaging(HATEFUL) term for a Christian.

Have you come across someone who harangs you about not being a Christian? Who nags and pushes all the wrong buttons? You just need to know how to deal with it and ask, politiely and not hatefully that you would rather not talk about it. That you have an opinon, and you wanted it respected JUST AS YOU should respect that other person's strong beliefs.

So are we all who own, carry,read the bible and are those who actively minister hateful, NO!!!!! Are there hateful people in the world, of course and he/she could be an atheist, christian, jewish, hindu, muslam.....

So please do not GENERALIZE and realize that it was God who gave you FREE WILL to think this way.

I have a few theories, purely hypothetical, of course. Such as:

a] They haven't reached the part where it talks about LOVE, maybe?

b] They don't know how to read and understand the Bible, maybe?

c] Umm.. that's what their pastors teach them to do ONLY what he preaches to them, maybe?

d] They can see the splinter in your eyes but not the lumber in their own eyes, maybe?

e] They can't explain their own fear, maybe?

f] They watch too much WWF shows, maybe?

g] What else? ...All of the above, maybe??

Cause they aint right with god. My dad was a pastor & people thought he was weird cause he served god at home. He said that some of the biggest sinners on earth was so called christians. He said so much gossip & trouble went on in the churches he attended that he decided to serve god at home. I think he was very smart. And we are pentecostal.

I think that they only get sick of people trying to make them fall into the wrong faith, they shouldn't hate you, but it hard to share God work and have others laugh and put you down, but then the bible says this would happen..

Frankly I can't tell the difference between rabid fundamentalists and rabid atheists. The two tend to speak the same language, ask the same questions over and over again and, as far as I can tell, are far closer to each other than either are to sane believers and non-dogmatic atheists...
