Haha, obviously not, but you know that the Da Vinci Code would be first on a lot of Chrstian lists. Why does a fiction book need six books and several documentaries discounting it? It's fiction!

no, because we all have different beliefs and we all have different veiws of what is considered offensive. plus, your children may no agree with your religion and they need ways to find their own paths. Part of that comes through books. The other part of books is an imagination. There are people out there against the Harry Potter books, just because there are spells, wizards, and everything else. I think we need books like that, so that kids can grow up believing anything can happen.

No that would be censorship and that is against that Constitution. I know of a church that wanted to ban a book because it was written in German. Boy were they surprised when someone translated the book. It started out to read "In the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth". A lot of red faces I'll bet.

It is a matter of choice. We should have the right to choose what to read and what not to read. If a particular book says things against your beliefs don't read it, don't buy it and do not promote it. That's your choice, your privilege. However, no religion should force people not to read or hear or do something because they would be limiting our freedom of choice. It would improve religion in general if people would concentrate more on the important things(love, kindness, mercy, etc.) rather than concentrating on telling us what to do or not do.
