My grandson likes dry cheerios, dry kix, apple slices, pear slices, yogurt, carrot sticks, scrambled eggs with cheese, fresh juice from my juicer. About anything in my fridge, but I think it's because I'm his grandmother. I find that having him (><) "help" me prepare the food helps him try it and enjoy it more. My son says he is finicky, but I don't see it. He eats anything I got!

If the child wants pasta at least use 100% whole wheat pasta; it looks a bit strange but it is GOOD for you. What about fruits? All kids love bananas, you could make some oat bran, sprinkle on Cinnamon a spoonful of honey and cut up a banana. (that's my breakfast). Try a baked apple. veggies are a must. there are some great dips to improve the vegetable taste. I can't digest raw veggies so I put carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower in the steamer and add salad dressing. You need to be creative -- have the child help you cook. Get a healthy recipe book, let the child pick out a picture of what looks delicious and cook it together. Try eggplant parm (that way you get the cheese in there. Try yogurt -- they have so many flavors & whips the child will never know. I take angel food cake and put chocolate mouse whipped yoguart on it. There are so so so many things..I could go on & on & on &on.

At 3 years old, a kid starts to develop eating habits, what you feed him/her now will set up what he eats for the rest of his life, so try to make it nutritious as possible. No junk food for now.

It is up to you to provide healthy food for for a child. He will eat finger foods like carrot sticks dipped in peanut butter, apple pieces, bananas, meat with a little ketchup, etc. Do not feed him the same thing all the time. He will learn to eat different foods if you offer him a variety.

A three year old will eat anything you give him. Try serving vegetables served in an interesting manner. Steamed carrots, start off slowly. I guarantee you he/she will cry, complain, make a big fuzz, but if you do it for a week, eventually they will realize you're in charge and not them. In time you will see they like more things and they'll be open minded to whatever you feed them, it just takes consistency.

well, there maybe a problem now because when the baby first started to accept table food, this is where you should have introduced everything that you eat.
