Within your organization -- shouldn`t the men rule since they are the reason you are there? Aren`t you there to serve the Vets?

huh? the ladies auxilary is a part of the VFW, the men rule the post and the women do something totally separate from them. why should the men rule it? technically the men do have some control over the auxilary because if the commander of the post doesnt like something that the auxilary is doing he can stop it. and the auxilary does serve the vets, they do so much for the post and its members.

Patches... I would suggest that you contact some of our wonderful women who belong to the Auxilarys and find out first hand the wonderful work they do for the organizations they belong to. They are proud lady's who get very little credit for the job they do. Why should we men rule them? These women are certainly capable of thinking for themselves and do an excellent of of it if I say so myself. My heart and thanks goes out to all of them. Keep up the good work gals.
