My cat, a one year old Russian Blue, just walked up beside me, stepped over my arm (I’m laying down) planted his feet on either side, bent his head, and bit my hand. He held on, and just punched harder with his teeth.

He moved a bit, to find different spots to bite, and he keeps like.. walking in place while he’s biting.

WHAT IS HE DOING?! 0__o
He’s not ill tempered, and he’s gotten nothing but positive attention and cuddles all day, so why is he biting me?

Well from what you said I thought it could be sex moves. Is he operated for that? I mean if you did not have him operated against that he may need some sexual things.

My cat Jemima used to do this and that i could no longer understand why till sooner or later she jumped on the sink and started eating the water from the faucet. After that I knew that as quickly as she meowed on the showering room door or on the kitchen sink she needed a drink of clean water, no longer the stuff in her bowl. This behaviour is additionally an indication of lack of self belief with the cat in case you shut the door and close her out - you recognize how curios cats are, they opt to work out what you're doing!

It sounds like love bites, especially with the "walking" of feet, which is what they do to their mother. Some cats are more aggressive, and some don't realize that their claws and teeth hurt us! I have gentle and rough cats, you name it.

Your cat wants your attention. Play with him. A feather on the end of a string is loads of fun. Or buy a laser pointer.

My cats does the same thing, and My vet said that sometimes they are trying to give you "love" bites. Sounds crazy I know, but, this is what he told me. I said, well, that is sweet, but, gosh does it ever hurt. Good Luck.

My female (fixed) kitty does this, except she also hisses when she stops between bites. I think she is playing but I don't let her do this if I can get away from her. She breaks the skin!

Is he neutered?
I think that when male cats are trying to ..um...'mount' a female they bite the back of the neck to control her...
Maybe your kitty is just a little Horny..:)
