Well, I think we all are right now. After all, we are living through the Bush Administration

Been there. Done that. Hard to explain, really. People were sort of floating through space, it was dark and somwhere (the bottom?) it was very muddy. The weird thing was, there were all sorts of priceless items in the mud: gold, fantastic jewels, relics and antiques that could fetch quite a price here on earth (or at least belong in a museum), but everyone was ignoring it because it was meaningless there. There were people who I did not recognize, but there were quite a few dead "celebrities", with an entourage of people following them out of fanaticism. I talked to Jim Morrison, of all people, and he told me to go back and do something with my life and it would be easy since I'd seen what happens if you waste your life. I know, you think I'm full of b.s., but this is what happened.

And yeah, there is a devil of sorts. It was this immense..um..I don't know what to call it...like an immense tree or collumn connected to everything and only remembering weakness, fear and evil. Surrounding the devil were the worst, most restless demons who spent most of the time attacking me. I would be what should have been fatally wounded, then I'd heal up so they could attack me again. I actually jumped into the devil's embrace to get away from the demons. It was the most screwed up thing. Anything, ANYTHING ANYTHING would be preferable to being there. I would do almost anything to avoid going back, be it leading the most pious life possible or be the most horrendous person imaginable, as long as I didn't have to suffer there.

Yeah, that's hell. Or at least it seemed like hell to me. If it wasn't hell and hell is indeed someplace else, I couldn't tell the difference.

Haven't been there in spirit and won't ever be. Sorry I can't give you any better idea than that. However, you can read many references of Hell in the bible - where it is referred to as wailing, gnashing of teeth, torment, eternal, brimstone and sulfur, a lake of fire, a recalling of every time you were given a chance to accept Christ and rejected; of every unkind word, deed, or action you ever did, we are not given a pretty description. We know from scripture that the one man who went to hell was exceptionally thirsty. Given, a choice, I'd seek out Christ and ask him, if that's the option he would want me to pick.

No. And, to Big Jay 7, free speech and all that, but that also gives me the right to say
"Jesus didn't come to save us from a stubbed toe and a missing car payment, He came to save us from unspeakable doom."
(from referenced site)
If God made everything, can do anything and knows everything, then he must have either,
a) Made the unspeakable doom
b) Known that the unspeakable doom was going to be made and did nothing about it.

No I haven't been but I certainly don't want to find out. Just like heaven, hell is eternal.
