The concept of god still lives amongst the ignorant, the scared, the hopeful.
However, the existence of god is false. A non-existent god cannot be a dead one.

Neither, God isn't alive or dead. Only mortal beings are alive or dead, they are finite. God is immortal and infinite. He created "alive" or "dead" so of course He's neither. God is the Creator, not the created.

No, God is not dead, but people put themselves into a "casket" of doubt so strong that Faith and belief cannot get in to change their preception of God. So... really, they are dead, not GOD!
