Why Is It Not Possible To Invent immunization Against STDs Infections?
Antibodies are protein-structured weapons, which are manufactured to fight against the foreign cells entering the human body. These weapons are produced by the B cells, a class of warriors of the immune system. Antibodies destroy invaders. They have two main functions: The first is to bind to the invader cell, which is the antigen. The second is to decompose the biological structure of the antigen and destroy it.
In the case of STDs, our bodies with its deffence system do not even attempt to fight back, why?

Because if everyone stopped having premarital/adulterous sex, then STDs wouldn't happen.

With HIV the virus attacks the cells that are supposed to kill it. There is no way for the body to fight back. The cells bind to the virus to attempt to destroy it and the virus rewrites the cells DNA to make more viruses. Some STDs can be cured, others cannot.
But then again, who knows the real story with viruses.

actually they've developed vaccines for HPV. there's a 3 shot series that prevents 4 strands of the virus-- 2 that most commonly cause cervical cancer and 2 that most commonly cause genital warts. it's being marketed as a cancer vaccine rather than an STD vaccine, though, and it's expensive.
as for our bodies fighting it... we'd have to ask a doctor or get a study done.
and to the person who said the immunization against STD's would be safe sex or abstinence--that doesn't immunize you against anything. you could be a virgun until marriage and still catch something after the fact.

It depends. With the HIV Virus, the problem is that it is constantly mutating, which makes it hard. They just came up with a vaccine for HPV (Human Papaloma Virus). Herpes is also a virus. We wouldn't NEED these vaccines if people would learn how to either keep their pants on or use a raincoat.
As for other STDs, most are treatable with an antibiotic. They're too busy looking for cures for CANCER and treatments for HIV. When does human responsibility come into play?

An immunization is created by a dead or weakenen virus that cuases specific antibodies to hang around for life. (or at least, that's my understanding)
I don't know for sure, but would imagine that some immunizations aren't possible because:
- A dead virus may not work
- A weakened virus may be too dangerous
- Some viruses (like HIV) too closely resemble human cells for our immune system to detect.

some STD are transmitted by bacteria; You normally don't vaccine against bacterial transmitted diseases.
Anyways, there are many more diseases that out body cannot cope with, that are not STDs.

Beacuse the Drug companies are making way too much money treating diseases instead of curing them.
