I don't remember my first day of kindergarden or the first day of first grade.
I remember the first day of firstday at my new school. We moved with 7 weeks left of school, so I could make new friends for next year.
My mom stayed in the classroom for a few hours to help with moral support( I was really shy). I sat down and this boy, Cedric, was messing with a cowboy boot pencil sharpener. Then a girl, Leah, sent me a note that said I could sit next to her for read-aloud.
Thats all i remember

Yes! And I arrived home at the end of the day, threw my bookbag on the floor, and said to my mother, "Phew! I'm glad that's over!" I really thought school was a one day event. Little did I know I would spend the next 45 years of my life in and around schools!

Yes, can remember painting a picture that was just a hugh orange circle that covered the whole page. I said it was the sun.
Bit sad that I can remember as it was over 25 years ago!

Yes. my first day of school was in kindergarten.
I was five and the year was 1996.I wasn't crying or throwing a tantrum. i missed my parents, but went through the day quite happy.

no, but I do have good memories of the school I went to and the teachers and my friends in Preschool and Kindergarten! I think that's pretty good considering that was 18 years ago!!

I literally cried all day, because i had never been without my mum before.. I was screaming the entire time, and had to get picked up to go home. I still don't like being without her...

i remember being outside with all the other kids looking for the right line to get in for our class, but thats it

yeah it sucked so bad, i got stung by 3 wasps that came out of a playground toy, then i threw up in front of the class, you better beileve that made a lasting impression.

yep, I had a gray jacket, pants and a red shirt, I though it was fun.
