Your confusing things. People who don't believe in Christianity don't 'hate' Jesus. The problem is the FOLLOWERS of him. Those to degrade, talk down to, push their religion, tell people they are wrong, going to hell, judging, etc. those that don't believe Christianity.

Those who love Jesus Christ were the outcasts of the society during His time, including some of nobility.
But ironically, the only ones proven to hate Jesus Christ were those religious pharisees and sadducees and the scribes who eventually put Him to death.
I guess there is no reason for anyone to hate Jesus Christ now, since no one actually met Him. But should He be here physically, people would all the more love Him.
Unless of course, you think you are religious, pious, "holier than thou" and think that you are in the truth and know the truth, or are one of the religious scholars like the pharisees and sadducees and the scribes who were known to be hypocrites.

Because Jesus is not from this world, but from above. The people who love this world hates what is not a part of them. If they hated Jesus - they will (and do) hate those who embrace him. Why? Because when one is saved through the blood of the Lamb (Jesus) they are no longer a part of this world.

When you say 'people', you mean who, exactly? Personally I don't believe jesus was anyone 'special'. Do I hate him? No. Why should I hate anyone who (may have) lived over a thousand years ago!? Attila the Hun, Julius Caesar, The Spanish Inquisitors, do I hate them? No, for the exact same reason, hating them would do absolutely nothing for me other than to waste my precious energy and time!
Now if you had said pushy, narrow-minded religious people.....

Few if any would have a reason to hate Jesus Christ. I am a Muslim, and I love him. I call him the Prophet of Peace. We do not believe he is the son of God in a literal sense but we must honor and respect him. In fact it is a sin in our faith to take his name without blessing him. We believe God is everlasting and perpetual, eternal. Children or progeny are the need of temporal beings who are here today but will die someday and their genes will be lost for ever, unless they had children/progeny. Species continue through the offspring to have continuity. Life is temporary for a being, so it needs children. In our belief as God is eternal, he does not need children. When David or Jesus is called the son of God in our belief that is symbolic not actual. This is my personal belief. I hope it does not offend anyone.

The critics don't Hate Jesus. They hate hypocrites who say they believe in him but do not follow his teachings. Take the KKK for example. Or even those that don't go so far but go to church and tell people what Jesus wants of them then express their hatred of people who are different-Jews for example, (forgetting that Jesus was one himself.)

Yes, while I am an atheist and therefore don't think he was the son of god, I don't hate him and infact think very highly of alot of his teachings.
