Her name is Carol Rogers, and she expected my best...and because she did, she got it!! It was a lesson I carried into my entire life. If you expect the best from someone, you'll usually get it. If you expect the worst, you'll probably get that, too. She was smart, tough, and funny, and I still think about her 35 years later!

3rd grade teacher, Ms. Lang. We were all in Catholic school and the rules were SUPER strict. The nuns could still hit us with rulers back then. Ms. Lang was a rule breaker. She got so pissed one day she slammed her hand through the glass window! She was nuts but she was the one who showed me you can be religious and love God, but also be a person with her own mind and opinions on religion. I'll never forget her!

He was younger than most teachers and really cool. He didnt stick with the curriculum and taught us John Lennon poetry instead. They sacked him for it but I learnt more from him than any other teacher.

He was my History and Geography teacher in 11th and 12th grade! He was fortyish, with greyish hair! He was sexy and so clever! He wasn't as our other teachers were, I mean obsessed with authority!
He was so interesting that he seldom had to ask us to be quiet in class. We were just so focused.

ms. cardinal.. she's not my favorite but she's funny!! She farted in class a couple of weeks ago, right in some boys face.. then she bent up and said " OOPs! excuse me!" and everyone was cracking up. It was right in the middle of a state test, too... OH MY GOSH.. we still have been teasing her, and it won't let up for a while..

She was ahead of her time in terms of being progressive, she took me under her wing and she cared about kids in general. That was in about 1963 - sixth grade - Ms. Walsh.
