I think that in order to fall in love with someone you first have to be their freind and get to know them. the whole "Lobe at first sight" thing seems a little shallow, that you judge by the looks of a person.

Ur not really sallow. U can have love at first sight. I did but then i got 2 now the person and feel in love even more.

"Love at first sight", I would call it as "infatuation". To fall in love with somebody first impression is aways better..it gives you fair idea about person....if you like person at first sight, after knowing him, understanding him, at one point you start feeling that he is a right guy of your thinking you get along with him very well and ultimately you fall in love....thats love for me...so love in first sight can be possible but sometimes i could be just infatuation and can end there itself.

yeah but like when i met the guy im married to now i just felt something when i saw him for the first time.....then in getting to know him i fell in love very quickly..i think its a feeling....but you know when its the right person..see mine was right for me.....its not like true love at first cuz u do have to get to know them a little bit but its definately a feeling that can lead to that and possibley quickly.

i don't believe in it either. i think it's just lust at first sight and if anything than major lust at first sight. not love. you're right, it does seem kind of shallow.
