I can't figure out how to use the valve.

get a pump with those lil' tips on it...or buy those tips if they fit any pumps you might have

There is a special inflator. The tip is as thin as a hypodermic needle. It gets pressed into the ball's valve. Then an air compressor attaches to the inflator. When the inflator is removed from the ball, the pressure in the ball closes the pin hole made by the inflator.
The inflator is just called a "needle".

some gym balls use different pump/inflators. go to a sports store like Sports Authority, Big 5, GI Joe, or even Target or Wal Mart..scratch that.. Don't go to Wal Mart at any means..
Just buy the $10 inflator or buy a new set with the pump/inflator..

it may use a needle like you would use for a basket ball with a bicle tire pump - as at a sporrting goods store - take the ball with you!!

u need air pump and a air needle the neeedle goes in the ball wher the black sercalis and put air in it
