Hello ayashmoya.. :)

We must be the light of the world, that others may see Jesus shinning within our lives..

I have met many atheist here that do not say mean and nasty things about us..they are just asking questions from all different faiths to see why and what we believe.. :)

Let us not forget from whence we came..we are no better than anyone else..we are just forgiven..we are to forgive others as He forgave us.. :)

I am not saying this to condemn you..but to lift you up..

In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..In Christ..

First of all, anti-christian does not imply atheist buddy (agnostics, satanists, other religions) could all be 'anti-christian'. They are not rants, they are usually rational trains of thought that do in fact contain, or are simply 'cogent' questions. How can the majority of the christians on yahoo answers assert that our questions are invalid, considering they have no 'cogent' answers to them. Sorry, qouting the bible is not an answer, it is infact admission on your part that you have no answer. In stead of an answering, since they cannot do so, they merely regurgitate the dogma that has consumed their existence, as ive seen often in a condescending way.

Right back at ya! Why do you think your shrill christian rants are really questions?

Edit: I have nothing to prove to anyone. Only myself. I have belief in what I do after many years of self reflection and choices I have made and the acts I have gone through. I am atheist because I CHOOSE to be. You are Christian because you choose to be. I don't care to convert you. All I care about is that you prove to yourself your belief and you back it up. Not proving it, just why you believe it. You are a person, I am one too. Let's just treat each other as such. We will always disagree. If not religion, then about other things. Such is life.

Some, not all, atheists do this. I _suspect_ that _some_ "atheists" who do the really offensive anti-christian questions may be teenagers who are just claiming to be atheist for "shock value" and really don't know what atheism is all about. (EXcluding Jim Darwin-Spock Darwin, Icarus, Captain Atheism, and a few others).

It also goes both ways, sweetie---I have seen some rather really anti-atheist comments too. Look at the past 4 days worth of questions here. EDIT: Advice.....ignore them next time. I know I do the majority of them. :-)

Shrill? lol, your funny. And by funny I mean stupid.

The indestructible foundation of the whole edifice of Atheism is its philosophy, materialism, or naturalism, as it is also known. That philosophy regards the world as it actually is, views it in the light of the data provided by progressive science and social experience. Atheistic materialism is the logical outcome of scientific knowledge gained over the centuries.

The word "Pretend" is not present, you wanna start throwing words like pretend around? Water into Wine? Get a grip.

Many of them are. It's true that there is a lot of baiting that goes on here, but Christians are just as guilty.

The fact is that if you take time to search the questions you will find many thought-provoking issues raised by both atheists and the faithful.

Your generalization is based on assumption. Look deeper.

And what you posted is any different (rhetorical)? I'm happy for you that you have a book to live by, and feel you have all of life's answers. But we agnostics (some call us atheists because we haven't made a choice in anything other than ourselves) have questions because we are not naive enough to feel we have the answers to the riddles of the universe.
What I don't see often from people who are undecided/non-believers is them trying to ram their opinions down other peoples' throats, and then condemning them for not agreeing/thinking the same as they do (Christians, Catholics, etc.). I guess y'all justify it by trying to do God's work for him.

all christians have to understand that we are surrounded by spiritually negative forces as the Bible describe them in efe. 6:12 so atheists are moved by those forces and they don't even know this. Oscure forces try to abolish knowledge of the one and only God from the minds on the crhistians.

For the same reason that funamentalists cry the streets full of doom and hate and back up their so called "facts" from a book that no one can verify. Who is really living in a fantasy???

No one is telling you how to feel, what to believe, or that you can't express yourselves. Please have the decency to extend that same right to everyone else. Just because we aren't JUST LIKE YOU and that makes you afraid, it doesn't make you right!
