came to me when our baby was not white. He is not black either but is half cast. Having doubt for me and not trusting my wife is as guilty to me as adultery itself, so I have a conflict in me as to request a DNA sample. My local minister which is a very close friend to the family has told me to follow christ and and his path of trust. He helps me a lot but he is now in the Domenican Republic visiting his family and I do not have any one else to talk to. I really need help. Can someone please advise me?

Getting a paternity test has nothing to do with being a Christian. If its going to give you peace of mind , than do it! Maybe you will find out just how devoted your wife is to you and Christ.
Not trusting someone is not sinning. Especially if you have grounds for doubt.

You are giving yourself more trouble than there is. Things in life are temporal and not worth to "sweat" over them. Your minister is out only on visit and yet you panic over things that he cannot fix or reverse. Get a hold of yourself, do not freak out over issues that are possible but hard to accept. Give time and the truth will surface, remain calm. I ask you to think of other people who have had the same issue and what was the result of it. Just about, you are one more statistic given the same problem. The course of action to deal with the dilemma will take longer than the problem itself. Be Strong and be prepared for any eventuality in life. As you are a christian, you should know that God is the only One you should rely, rest on. The rest is human and by our nature, human can fail you anytime.

Well that is sad!
If you find out the baby isn't yours are you going to leave your wife? If you are then I would have the test done.
If you would stay with her anyway. Then I would just live life...

Is there anyone in her family that is dark skinned?
My daughter always look like my hubby but my sons look like me or my dad when they are born. My hubby is light skinned and my son's are born darker then him.

If you can't live with the thought of never knowing then I'd have to have the test done.
Good Luck

okay that is sad but i think the question is what would you do if the baby is not yours, get divorce, make the baby pay for someone else mistake. I think that you should just trust your wife and have faith and hope in God that everything will come out fine. God Bless You.

Don't judge that your wife has cheated on you based on the color of your baby! My baby is half Mexican and Black, but when he was first born; he looked white! Spend time in the presence of God and seek His wisdom and understanding. Ignore all negative answers that you might recieve here on yahoo answers but pray and ask for guidance.

I think you should get a paternity test. It's not about being a christian. But if your wife has been cheating on you, i think it's right to know the truth.

get a dna test. if you're not the father, then your wife commited a bigger sin. she is the one who should feel guilty, not you.
