i am in 2nd year(engineering). a senior in my college is after me from the very 1st day i went to college.he said he loved me, i needed some time in reply to avoid him indirectly.he then hung out with one of my very close friends.he shared many private moments with her infront of me.i hated his attitude.suddenly when i was in a relation with a boy of our institute he again started bugging me with his love.i don't like that guy at all.he brokeup with his galfriend.and everywhere i was accused for that.he is after.i really am afraid of him.he's the general secretery and holds a good position.he can do anything.myfriends can't help me out of this.he even dares to talk to my parents.i am getting a very bad impression in college even.he's creating a great fuss out in my life.i had been polite to him rude to him and even have insulted him but the hell i dont know why he tries to be so nice to me and literally pleads me for a yes.i am tired of handling him.

Breathe, confront him and be nice. You don't have to pity or present yourself in a perfectly personal manner. Just act for 3 minutes. Tell him no and be honest, how his arrogance gets on your nerves and that you can't trust someone who doesn't trust himself. That should give him enough of a shock combined with his pride that he shouldn't try anything anymore.
If you need to, practice looking him in the eye by staring at yourself in a mirror. If you can honestly look at yourself and say what you want, you can say it to him.
I did the same thing to a girl last year so I gotcha loud and clear. It's your character, not your repuatation, that matters.
