no,you need to wrap it up and put it in the fridge.

its best to put it in the fridge after you slice it it will get soggy and gross like an apple if you cut it and leave it out it will turn brown. The fridge will keep it fresher longer but a tomato unsliced can stay out to ripen that's ok. For best results wrap in some plastic wrap or a Tupperware bowl.

u cant keep tomato in room temperature after it has been sliced i think u should not keep sliced tomato in fridge too bcoz its un healthy.
