You've got a lot to learn. Try not being selfish and being smart instead. Your parents may have just so much income to go around and $60 is not just pocket change.
Why don't you get off your butt and work?
Using lost pets against them shows you are very selfish and vendictive. Better change that quickly, it could cost you someday.

No, becuase it doesn't sound like it relates to the thing you want. Just tell what you want, and don't sound too desparate. Just be cool, and if they say no, ask them for a good reason. Plus ask them if there are any chores you could do for them to earn the $60, that might help you get it.

You either have the talk (i do), nd you'll be able to make something up as you go along, or you can raise the money yourself. 60 bucks isnt that hard to make. Oh and if you have good grades use that to your advantage.

how old are you???old enough to own something personal worth 60 bucks??old enough to work for it??
and what is this "something"that your so deperate to buy tht you'd consider blackmailing your parents over it???
i'd suggest ...a polite request as to what you want and why...if it doesnt work ,dont mention it to them again and when they ask you about it,change the topic.,again politely...it'll work...they'll get it for you (parents are usually stunned when their kids behave)
