It is a matter of preferance,I like most all my food on the grill
my favorites are,ribs,steak,brats,and italian sauage,burgers too!
I dont like chicken on the grill ,but porkchops are my favorite.
most people burn chicken,<<<< I guess to asnswer your question whats the best ,meaning what come out the best and easy way, got to be steak /or burgers.

Everything is good but grilled or barbequed chicken are the best I think!
Also drench or soak Brauts in beer for awhile and then cook them on the grill real slowly there so juicy and they have a great flavor, I had a friend once that soaked them in a bowl of beer for about 2 hours then threw them on the grill with onions and peppers!!! YUM!!! It was great give that a try.

Portabello burgers from Trader Joe's and romaine lettuce for a salad that is quite different (learned about it from the Food Channel).

Chicken or pork maranaited in teriyaki sauce for about 20 minuet's, add hot sauce to some or sprinkle old bay on them.

Out here in California we like beef tritip, marinated overnight. Served with salad and garlic bread.
