well take a deep look at scripture and see the prophecies ,laid out in it ..and then look at the world around us and see what is going on right now ..i dont believe someone was so good at guessing how things would turn out , they could only be God inspired ..and for those who say there is no God .. well pay attention..because scipture says every knee shall bow and every tongue confess Jesus is Lord ..i do believe he is talking also about those that say there is no God as well when he says every knee and every tongue..all you have to do is look around and you can see it takes more faith to believe there is no god then to see there is ..because faith is the evidence of that which is unseen..well i dont think something as awsome as just the eye and how it works came about by a big bang ..any big bang i know of has only brought distruction..

1. God is perfect. (premise)
2. God deliberately created the universe. (premise)
3. Perfection entails the lack of needs or wants. (premise)
4. Being perfect, God does not now nor ever has nor ever will have any needs or wants. (from 1, 3)
5. Deliberate creation entails an effort to satisfy some need or want.
6. Being a creator, God at one time had some need or want. (from 2, 5)
7. It is impossible to have some need or want and also to never have any need or want.
8. Conclusion: God, if it exists, is either not perfect or has not created anything. (from 4, 6)

I God is perfect, then God can’t have any needs or wants; hence, God wouldn’t bother creating something. If God deliberately creates something, it must be because of some need or want — even if it is as simple as curiosity.

An argument against premise #3 is that perfection is compatible with having needs or wants. I just don’t see any merit to this, as it goes against the basic understanding of what “perfect” means: lacking nothing essential to the whole. If God needed something, then God lacked something essential.

Suppose a child has an accident. His parents used a human-made telephone to call a human-made, human-operated ambulance. The ambulance takes the child to a human made, human operated hospital, where humans use techniques discovered by humans to restore him to health and strength. The parents thank God for saving their son. They claim that this event shows the working of God in their life. The parents have put a religious interpretation on the events.

No. And did you know that's at least the 500th time I've seen the same question on here? And the answer is always the same. But since it's Saturday, what the hey.

Just think of this other "question:" Can you prove there isn't a unicorn in the next room who disappears if you try to look for him? Bummer, huh? (It's a logic thing - can't be done.)

Can anyone here prove, beyond the shadow of doubt, that God does exist?

The heart is where the door to God can be found, not the mind. The mind is a distraction from the direct experience of Divine. The gospel, when it lives within us, is shared heart to heart, not mind to mind. As long as there's a feeling of wanting to prove someone wrong, there is ego there...and ego cannot share the gospel.

I'm not saying this to criticize or make you feel bad, but just to give you something to ponder. So much energy is wasted in mental sparring, when God just wants us to love each other.

God Bless,

Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Psa 19:1 [[To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.]] The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

"To prove' is a terminology used in Mathematics and Physics. It can~not be applied to matters metaphysical. Can we prove that there is a boundary beyond which no universe exists. Can we prove our dreams. Can we prove our love. The philosophers and theologians have, nevertheless, discussed the Proof that Allah does exist, by Himself.

Stupid question. No one can prove either way. What is the point of this waste of time? It is impossible to prove ANYTHING in a negative way, as in "doesn't exist." There is no physical proof of a negative. You need some lessons in logic and debate.

I saw a Monty Python episode a few nights ago. They had wrestling match between a theologian and a humanist. God exists, proven in the second round by two falls.
