Depending on the severity of the attacks you may not have to separate them. If they are small corrective squabbles such as over food or space then you should let it continue. It's a natural tendency for dogs to establish a pack order. It seems your pittbull may be the weaker of the 3. If he is they are attempting to establish this. If it bothers you that much or they are actually wounding the puppy then you can separate the pup and bring him in your house. Working on his self esteem for me has proven effective in his ability to defend himself once reunited. By giving him lots of attention, like people he'll realizes a self worth and will make a stronger stand. Because the pack alpha, You, has given him his blessing. He'll expect you to defend him against the other pack members. Before long he will be a self assured and cocky dog, tail held high. Just remember to socialize him as Pit Bulls are very protective of their pack and will act aggressively to outsiders. I know it sounds absurd to some people but has worked for me time and time again. I rescue dogs and at any given time I have puppies and adults that don't even know each other in my home. And I see this all the time.

maybe u should give equal attention to both of them.Or if that does not work put the older male dog outside like a time-out and see if he has respect for the younger pup

Is the older male fixed? If not you should really think about it. Maybe even get both males fixed! Then there'd be no fighting...they kinda lazy, but you gotta love em' anyways!

You better keep them separate. He will kill the puppy. You also have a problem with the temperment of the two breeds you are dealing with, not exactly "cream puffs".

remove one of the males because a male pit will not tolerate that kind of behaviour towards him when he grows up.
