What's the difference between men's and women's golf balls?

compression. mens balls are normally between 80 and 100 compression, while womens are normally 60 or 70. ( womens balls work well when it is cold out).

Because usually man is bigger and stronger and woman so the golf manufacturer golf ball for man with more compression; i.e. 90 to 100 (some goes to 110); V.S. 70-80 for women. Plus for women's they put in sweet colour like pale pink, blue or purple on just to attract women. But, judging from the girl in LPGA, I think they can hit any ball there is.

Nothing really. Women's sometimes are colored instead of white or may have a colored ribbon on a white ball. However, some manufacturers are now marketing specific balls for women. There may be slight technological differences in these. Check out some of the manufacturer's websites for specs. Like Titleist or Calloway.

they used to have a much lower compression, most ballls now have lower compression rates anyway. colour is a big one with a lot of companys, price also, the quality is lower with most because any serious female golfer with a decent swing and handicap won't have to pick a ladies ball, One decent ladies ball which was relatively cheap is the precept lady, i've bought those many a time
