If there is no prevention from future sin, what do you do when you sin again. Do you have to be baptised again for each new sin? How does that work?

No - to sin or not to sin is based on free-will. You make the choices that you do, nothing you do can prevent you from having free will. No, you don't need to be baptised or do anything when you sin, except confess to God and He is quick to forgive. Remember - Jesus paid the penalty on the cross for our sins, we can't add to or remove anything from what He did. We just need to acknowledge that we did something wrong, ask forgiveness and know that we are forgiven and God loves us.

Baptism is a public confession of your faith. It doesn't remove sin, or anything like that. It says to the world that you have asked Jesus into your heart and are committed to following Him, and you are going to show that you love Him by identifying yourself with His death, buriel & resurrection.

Does this makes sense? I hope so!

No, being Born Again does not prevent you from sinning again. Baptism is a show to man that you are a new creature in Christ. Baptism has nothing to do with you being saved. What I mean by that is being baptised does not get you saved.

I am a Baptist. I believe that if I commit sin, which I do, I ask the Lord to forgive me of that sin, and cover it with the blood of Jesus. I do not have to be baptised again.

no it doesn't. You are the only one who can prevent your self from sinning. But that is the way Christian religions work...through fear; without the fear of going to hell and the hope of going to heaven, there is no control...and forgive me for saying so, without control and the fear, there would be no open wallets. Every human being must have a belief system, whether one is Muslim, Catholic, Mormon, Agnostic, Satanist, Wiccan, Buddhist or Atheist. Believing that you are "saved" and honestly asking forgiveness for the sins you do commit keeps you from having to be baptized over and over again. The Catholics have or had confession and would have to do "penance" to wipe out the sins they committed after confirmation, baptism etc. Most other Christian religions have some form of the same thing. Basically, I think you need to look into the whole baptism thing, because you don't know what you should in order to be baptized. Talk to your minister, deacon, priest or whom ever and find out more.

Being baptised and accepting Jesus as your Savior means that you believe in him and want to make yourself and your life clean for him. You are NOT going to be able to avoid sin, even if you get baptised every single day. As a matter of fact, true Christians have a harder time, because Satan will try harder to tempt you. You have to make the decision to avoid sin and live right. Do not allow yourself to be in places or situations that make sinning inevitable. If you are guilty of sin, and are truly penitent, then God will forgive you. But God does have a temper, people, and if you repeatedly commit the same sins and tell yourself "Oh, I can do this and then ask forgiveness later and it will be alright."---guess again! God will correct his children just as any parent will do. He loves us and wants us to do what is right according to His Word.

No, when you are baptised it means you have made the final step to your dedication to God and you have allowed the Holy Spirit to wash away your sins--past and future. Every man sins no matter what. It's part of human nature and since God gave man free will, he will sin. To repent and ask forgiveness for your sins is what you do to be forgiven for sins, but you never stop sinning.

No. You can just ask for forgiveness after that and try not to commit the same sins again. After you're born-again, you begin a process where the Spirit begins to work in you and make you a new person. Sinning is something we all do, but you don't WANT to sin anymore when the Holy Spirit is working in you. You're tempted, but deep-down you really don't want to sin. So when you do sin, you just tell God all about it and ask for forgiveness and help to not do it again.

Nothing can stop us from sinning more in this life-we are all imperfect. If we got re-baptized every time we sinned, that would cause baptism to be just another ritual, formalistic, habitual way of trying to assuage our guilt. Baptism should be a one time offering of ourselves to God to do his will. When we become baptized, in the manner Jesus was (he had no sin, but his baptism showed he was now taking on the work he was sent to earth to do and provided a model for us), we come into a favored and accepted position by God through the ransom of Jesus Christ. This does not mean we no longer sin, but we do try not to practice sin willfully. If we do sin, we must ask forgiveness AND NOT REPEAT IT. Learning from our mistakes is a big responsibility and we pledge to uphold that when we undertake the step of baptism.

Born again is the term for when you accept Jesus Christ into your heart, and you choose to live your life by him and through him. Being baptized is a way of confirming your faith. But you will sin again. We all will sin. We cannot help but sin.
That's where you must confess your sins and ask for forgiveness. There is no need to be baptized over and over again. You can, but just to let you know, we all fall short from the glory of God. You will have to ask God for forgiveness of your sins.

No, it does not prevent you from sinningm ore. It just more means that you are starting a new life with Jesus. After you've been born again and you sin again, you need to go to Jesus to ask for forgiveness for your sins. Some churches have certain practices about how that forgiveness is received but the big issue is to talk to Jesus, ask for forgiveness, and pray for the strength and guidance to avoid that sin again.

You are a new creature in Christ. He died for your sins past and future, you need to avoid sin. Then again you are human, when you fall ask His forgiveness and believe He has forgiven you and then most importantly forgive yourself.
Baptism was a sacrament to forgive original sin, the sin that Adam and Eve committed when they ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, God gave them everything but challenged them to not eat of that fruit. They, like you, couldn't do it either. Baptism is a one time thing. Forgiveness is an always thing.
Only you can stop you from sinning.
