well it really depends on where you live, it is different every where. i live in eastern kansas and the going rate around here varies. i recently got several quotes, one was 500 a month, another 110 a week, those were both home daycares, and a really good one was 170 a week.

Call a local daycare and find out what they charge. Then charge less than that, but not so cheap that its not paying for your time or the food he eats. Where I am, its $5 a child per hour when I get a sitter (the lady also has a child of her own in the house).

I'd charge her about $4 to $5 per hour. I don't have a calculator handy, so I can't do the math, but when my kids were in daycare last year, that was the going rate (in Michigan). If she provides the food for her son, you could charge her slightly less. If you have to provide the diapers, charge her more.

The rate will vary wherever you live. I think the average works out around £2 an hour in England, which would be about £90 a week.

it all depends how good of a friend this friend is. 5 days a week for 9 hours or more???? total up how much food you feed the kid in that week? and other things you do with the kid that cost money. dont be too stubborn about it. 3 year olds are fun !~ enjoy it
