i had an allergic reaction to benzoyl peroxide. i got some red spots that are like rashes. what should i do? obviously discontinue using the bp, but what should i put on it to reduce the redness and make the rashes go away?

Emily, take oral Benadryl for a few days. If this makes you sleepy then use Claritin. For the rash, put cortisone cream on it until the rash is gone. (they all are over the counter). If this does not work, then see a physician ( a dermatologist would be best).I If it is an allergic reaction, this should help, if it is not an allergic reaction, it may be another condition that needs to be diagnosed by a Dr. Good Luck

Take an antihistamine...this will help. and use a cortizone craem.
