It might be kind if, we as Christ-centered, Christians would not cudgel non-believers with scripture that makes no sense to them without having received Jesus. Without knowing God it seems reasonable that two people of like sexes should be together if that's what they desire. If one doesn't have the understanding of God, His heart & His will, scripture can seem restrictive, unreasonable & even discriminatory. Even though it is wholly liberating and outlines God's agenda for sexuality which forbids homosexuality.
We cannot bring anyone to Christ except through honest witness & our example but most of all His love. "....and they will know we are Christians by our love". (John 13:35)
And, God knows, if I find the purile and hackneyed Adam & Steve chestnut offensive, it must be trippley degrading to the ears of the unindoctrinated.
We are either winning souls for Christ or ending up with their blood on our hands depending on how we live & how we present Him to others. If we present Him in a pissed-off and sanctamonious way how are we ever going to be able to get a difficult point across? God is responsible for convicting hearts, we just need to get the info across in a humble & loving manner in the true fashion of upholding the gospel.

Why on earth would a god judge someone for the sexual orientation? It doesn't make sense. Better to have loved and be loved, surely?
I don't understand why people use the dogma in a book 2000 years old and apply it to the 21st century. It says all kinds of stuff in there which isn't appropriate today - and this homophobic claptrap is just one example.
Look at the person, not what they do with another consenting adult.

Being "Gay" is a learned behavior. God did not create people like this. People choose to be "Gay". I agree with Romans. That is the Word of GOD. When man fell (Adam) sin entered in. The Bible is the manual for our lives ( just like a car has a operator 's manual) if you don't follow the manual u will have trouble in your life!!!

John 3.16
"God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son so that who so ever should believe in him would not perish but have eternal life." Even those dirty fags.
If you are going to be a Christian, you need to learn to live by grace, and not the law... Which by the way is the point Paul is making in his epistle to the Romans. You have to read the whole thing, not just the parts that support your views.

Why are so many ready to follow this particular piece of "bible teaching" and believe they are being Christian, yet at the same time willingly ignore so many of the other rules laid down by the bible?
The bible clearly says (IN TWO PLACES) that you are forbidden to eat shrimp, yet many "Christians" do this all the time! Will gay couples spend eternity in hell with the shrimp-eaters and Hitler?
When will the government pass a constituitional amendment banning shellfish?
Leviticus 11:9-12
These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat. And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you: They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination. Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.
Deuteronomy 14:9-10
These ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat: whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it is unclean unto you.)

pretty much an obvious answer- but homosexuality is wrong. If it were right- gay people could procreate with each other. Its as simple as that, whether you believe in the Bible or not.
In fact all religious texts forbid it. UNLESS, some homosexual decided to rewrite a version to make himself feel better. Which, would be pointless.

I think that a homosexual couple living in a healthy, loving, respectful relationship, hurting no one is better than some heterosexual couples living in unloving, unhealthy relationships where they often, beat, and degrade each other and are frequently living in competition with the other, rather than as a true partnership.

Gays can do whatever they care to, within the law, but any arrangement they make with each other is not marriage. Marriage has been between one man and one woman for the last couple thousand years. Let's keep it that way.

What do I 'think' of gay couples? I don't 'think' about them I just accept them for the human beings they are. I don't go about classifying people with social tags. Sexual orientation is a non-issue. Live and let live.

"What does Romans 1:24-27 say ?
the apostle Paul describes non-Jewish women who exchange "natural use for unnatural" and non-Jewish men who "leave the natural use of women, working shame with each other."
This verse appears to be clear: Paul sees women having sex with women and men having sex with men, and he condemns that practice. But let's go back 2,000 years and try to understand why.
Paul is writing this letter to Rome after his missionary tour of the Mediterranean. On his journey Paul had seen great temples built to honor Aphrodite, Diana, and other fertility gods and goddesses of sex and passion instead of the one true God the apostle honors. Apparently, these priests and priestesses engaged in some odd sexual behaviors -- including castrating themselves, carrying on drunken sexual orgies, and even having sex with young temple prostitutes (male and female) -- all to honor the gods of sex and pleasure.
The Bible is clear that sexuality is a gift from God. Our Creator celebrates our passion. But the Bible is also clear that when passion gets control of our lives, we're in deep trouble.
When we live for pleasure, when we forget that we are God's children and that God has great dreams for our lives, we may end up serving the false gods of sex and passion, just as they did in Paul's time. In our obsession with pleasure, we may even walk away from the God who created us -- and in the process we may cause God to abandon all the great dreams God has for our lives.
Did these priests and priestesses get into these behaviors because they were lesbian or gay? I don't think so. Did God abandon them because they were practicing homosexuals? No.
Getting to know a lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender person of faith will help you realize that it is unreasonable (and unjust) to compare their love for each other to the rituals of the priests and priestesses who pranced around the statues of Aphrodite and Diana. Once again, I feel certain this passage says a lot about God, but nothing about homosexuality as we understand it.
You'll also note that Romans 2 begins with "Therefore, [referring to Romans 1], you have no excuse, whoever you are, when you judge others; for in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself..." Even after he describes the disturbing practices he has seen, Paul warns us that judging others is God's business, not ours."
