MAybe he's not stupid. Maybe he's just lazy not to obey commands. Maybe he needs better training. There are alot of options.

Well It must be a male dog.. Ha Ha. I have 2 Newfoundland's My female is so smart. My male on the other hand is stupid.. Maybe not stupid but choses not to lisen... The other day I was puting my female in the back yard my female had been gone to the vet. So when I let her in the yard he came up to her and smelled her and PISSED on her. She turned around and looked at him like what the hell is your problum... It was so funny.!! You had to of been thier

Is it??? never met a stupid dog and I have kept them for over 40 years. walked them in rescue centers etc. Are you sure it's the dog??

Because you have not trained him/her. It's like my grandmother says stupid people have stupid dogs. PPl like you think a dog is something to have and keep around to amuse you, but the truth is that a dog needs rules and clues as to how to behave and does not come pre-programmed. DUH!!!

He might not be stupid just in need of professional training. Unless, he is a basset hound. Then he is stupid and there is no hope.

your dog is not stupid, the dog has natural instincts. dogs rely on instincts, don't judge your animal's instincts
