A male really wants to be dominant. In his mind these upstarts may want to take over as topcat. He's feeling threatened. Get everyone spayed and neutered and it will lessen.

Male cats or Tom's as they are referred too are very territorial creatures and they generally don't like to be around their own young. Watch him closely and make sure he doesn't try and kill his own children. If at all possible you want to seperate him from his children. What does the kittens mother do when the tom father is around? If your kittens mother was a good mother, she would protect her young from him. Keep close attention the best way you can. If things don't improve, you may have to ask your vet about it. He or she will be able to provide some options that could help everyone. Good luck and enjoy your pets they can be our greatest friends and companions.

wow, someone should spay or neuter some cats! The kittens will be in danger of the Tom killing them, until he's been fixed and all the testosterone has left his system. I would separate him.

no he doesn't hate them but also he doesn't recognize them as his kittens! and by the way adult male cats don't get along easily with other cats especially kittens, but don't worry he will get used to them!
