Here's how to feel better as you prepare for your exams:

1. EXERCISE: jogging, cycling, swimming, with or without friends, for just 30 minutes each day. Exercise is great! It makes you FEEL GOOD in the brain, it helps you SLEEP WELL, it helps you CONTROL STRESS...

2: SLEEP: try to stick to the same sleep patterns each day. At least 8 hours sleep per night (e.g. 11pm - 7am)

3: TREAT YOURSELF... if you achieve all the revision you expected to do during the day, reward yourself! Go to the cinema, eat out with your friends, or just spend the evening chilling out...

4: PLAN YOUR WORK... at the start of each day, plan what you want to get achieved in that day. You'll feel like you have more control over your work. Be a master of time, not a slave of it.

5: FRESH AIR and WATER both help. Open your window in the room where you work and keep drinking water. 2% dehydration reduces your concentration by 20%.

All these tips help you feel good and will keep you smiling even when doing the most boring subject of them all. (English, perhaps?)

Good luck in your exams and remember, there's a long summer holiday to follow!

If you're stressed at this point, then, at this point it's too late for these exams. I'll just say do your best and good luck. Some things to help get you smiling again would be, make sure you do get enough sleep at night, and make sure it's a good sleep and not just closing your eyes just to be haunted by nightmares caused from stress. If you can't let your brain recharge, it's not going to help you get much work done. Another thing is to reduce your level of stress. If you feel overwhelmed, put the pencil down, take some deep breaths, maybe put on some relaxing music or go grab a piece of your favorite candy. Streching/Exercise also helps lower your level of overwhelmingness. It doesn't just put strain on you mentally. Another thought would be to reduce the amount or time you spend studying. I mean by this of course not waiting until you have a week left to learn everything you've done in class for the past 3 months. If you don't understand something, ask a friend or a teacher to help you. It's always a nice feeling when you figure something out. I hope this helps you.

To keep smiling all you have to do is pull up the corners of your mouth (maybe a little superglue would help here).

To be optimistic all you have to do is delude yourself like other optimists.

Just pull yourself together and snap out of your depression.

Go back in time and work hard from the start of your course putting in 26 hour days.

The best thing for not sleeping at night is a good nights sleep.

Change it all get fed down or sideways, it really does help.

I'm sure the above advice is just what you don't need.

Well, the first step is to remember it's only a few more days for you until summer (think about the good stuff you get to do then). As for the feeling of it being too much work and not enough time, start studying about a month for the exams (don't wait until the teacher gives out a review guide because they tend to not do that soon enough). Study the subject you find hardest first (that's what will take longest to come back to you). That helps me anyway.

You really need to get your full quota of sleep. Just do your revision in the day of 20-25 minute bursts. No more because you won't retain the information. Inbetween, do something entirely different even if its just switching rooms, going for a walk or making a cup of tea and then go back to your revision. Good luck!

YOu may want to pace yourself. Set maybe half hour blocks of study time, then go eat, exercise or take a nap, so you don't burnout.
