when my HIB visa petition it is pending, Can I still entry the country with my tourist visa?

I live in mexico, my HIB petition it is pending but I want to spend the summer with some friends in Florida, BUT I don´t want to jepardize my chances to future employment.

not quite sure how that works, but sounds like if your other visa is used for traveling (it's a tourist visa), you shouldn't have any problem. call the company which you signed up for the tourist visa and find out what rules and regulations apply to you.
