I currently work at this smoothie/wrap place, and my co-workers are morons. I'm one of the hardest workers there, and my boss loves me on the food line. I think I have the potential to do better, where should I go from here?
I've learned a lot in two months. Way more than other coworkers who claim to have worked at places like TGIFridays and Subway for years. They think I'm bossy because I get mad when things aren't done right, when I'm just trying to get things done! Should I go to culinary school? Find a restaurant in a big city to apprentice or work my way up in?

I am a college graduate by the way, UMich. This is just a job, but I think there are plenty of opportunities in food service...

Maybe you should think about training to become a chef-I think
it's 3-4 years of study. Then you'll be the boss.
Also,give some thought to going to work in another industry-
there are jobs out there with a lot more room for advancement
and it sounds like you have the drive to do well.

After taking a look at all your questions you've posted you seem to have a big problem getting along with other people. Your dad is a doctor he should be able to get into some counseling. Doesnt work for people who dont get along well with others like yourself.In this world you have to realize there are some people that arent going to be just like you. Some will not be as well off as you and some will not be as smart you. Some will be better off and smarter than you. A part of growing up and maturing is undertsanding that theres all differents kinds of people. Especially in America try to not judge people. God created all of us. Some make wrong decisons and others do good. Dont worry about others faults unless they ask you for help. HUmble yourself to others and dont be so hard to get along with. Good luck

Try KW Cafeterias or Sky Chef, Any Buffet style restaurant. School helps, the degree always has merit.
