you don't need surgery for an overbite. I have an over bite and my dentist gave me braces and then I wear an inviable rubberband inside that makes it pull the overbite to the right position. you should get it, it doesn't even hurt or you can get invisaline!

It's too late to use any sort of headgear type appliance as your bones have stopped growing. However, depending on the severity of your overbite, it maye be able to be corrected via dental applications alone. The best thing would be to go have a consultation with an orthodontist and make sure they know you're not too keen on the idea of surgery. They'll likely be able to come up with treatment plan that suits your needs to the best of their ability.

it would be hard to speculate without seeing the size of the problem, personally I am a man and things like that are not a problem in my book, could the problem be in your head? I wouldn't want someone who was perfect even if there were such a thing. If your problem is so bad that you can't pay to get laid, take the surgery!

No, it is never to late. It is extremely doubtfull that you will have to have surgery, Usually orthodontists will give you a herbst appliance. I'm having to wear my herbst appliance for a year. Usually you don't have to wear them longer than that.
