Some commercials would have you believe that the toothbrush has a heathier impact on your teeth than toothpaste. And others, say the opposite. What do you think? Toothpaste, or toothbrush?

It is my opinion that choosing the wrong toothbrush will do more damage to your teeth and gums than choosing the wrong toothpaste. You could brush with baking soda if you wanted, and you'd still be doing some good. Your main goal when you brush is to remove plaque and disrupt bacteria. You can do that with a dry toothbrush. Toothpastes add things to make them better, such as fluoride. But, I don't believe that toothpastes are necessary. They are more of a cosmetic.
However, if you choose a toothbrush that is too hard, you could damage the enamel on your teeth as well as cause your gums to recede. Make sure you're always, ALWAYS brushing with a "soft" toothbrush and use a light grasp to do so.

both...you have to choose something that suits you and take care that the toothbrush has to be changed every 3 month
