Isn't that the way my dentist told me to hold my mouth when I brush my teeth when I was a kid?

A is mouth open, brushing the insides and back teeth.

Lou is closed a little and brushing the part of the back molars that are touching your cheek.

And Gee is like when you say "cheese" to take a picture. You show your front teeth so you can get them and your gums good.

I'm not sure, but that's sounds right to me. Only it was just a little different coming from my dentist. It went like this:

"Ah...Ooh...Ee"

thats something i have never heard and i have been a dental assistant for 28 years. goes to show you learn something everyday. i always have told our patients to brush at the gumline gently making sure you brush every surface and also your tissue.
