What is the status of the Second Avenue Subway?

I know that it is nonexistant at the moment (with the exception of some excavation done in the 70s). Now that there has been some movement in the legal areas, what's the new schedule?

You MIGHT find some info on the MTA website. Last I heard though it was on a list of projects that are desirable but lack funding. Best case would still have it years off, and I don't think we're looking at best case.
