You cannot fully understand the Quran without having knowledge of the Bible. And since the Bible is (or as you think, was) God's Word, wouldn't it stand to reason that God can protect His Message? He is, after all, the Almighty.

The book of mormon is comparable to the koran.
Joseph Smith and Muhammad had a lot in common.
We must examine the lives of the men that God supposedly used to write those books. How did they live??
I am sorry Muhammad didn't write the koran, (he wasn't educated enough to even read or write) but he supposedly was the example (like Jesus) that we are to follow. We should live like Muhammad did right???? Sorry, they put people in jail for those things.

The bible used tobe the word of Allah the Almighty, but it is not in its orginal wordings.
If this had been, there would have never been christians.
Because The original bible said that there will be last messenger of Allah the Almighty named Muhammad, you all have to follow him.
By the way, muslim believe in bible but with its original wordings brom Allah the Almighty.

Anytime I see "best" written in a religious context, I shudder. There is nothing comparable to the bull listed in the Koran...it is ungodly in all contexts, it preaches KILL all who do not believe as you do...that is ungodly, no matter how you want to wrap it. Even your own followers are so splintered, they kill each other daily. All in the name of your god???? Yea, that's something I would want to get involved with...right! Give it a rest, run over to Iraq and then tell me how great Islam is as bits of your body are flying here and there, blown up by a follower of Islam .. Great choice, if you have to make one.

That is very ironic, for a book that is so define as mention above. Even though there are many so call christians today, are they "fighting" in the name of the Bible? Who today are seen around the world fighting in the name of its religion or its religous book? ISLAM!
The Crusades is gone and has done by those who profess to be followers of Christ Jesus. Now it is over! Thus, who today is applying like manne crusades upon the world today?
According to the Quran I have read, there are nearly 109 passages that sites violence against others who are not muslims (infedels: jews, Christians, etc., why? Ask those who hate them)
These are questions we need to ask ourselves if we which to apply what we learn regarding our neighbours and they way we live. I am sure that Islam does reconised who Jesus was as a Great Prophet (or Mosa) , but does it apply [his] teaching on Love for nieghbour.
Moses was inspired to write: (Leviticus 19:18) “‘You must not take vengeance nor have a grudge against the sons of your people; and you must love your fellow as yourself. I am Jehovah.
Jesus said: (Matthew 22:39) ‘You must love your neighbor as yourself.’
Jesus said, (John 13:24, 25) "I am giving YOU a new commandment, that YOU love one another; just as I have loved YOU, that YOU also love one another. By this all will know that YOU are my disciples, if YOU have love among yourselves.”
Also , Jesus said: (John 14:15) "12 This is my commandment, that YOU love one another just as I have loved YOU. "
(1 John 4:20) "If anyone makes the statement: “I love God,” and yet is hating his brother, he is a liar. For he who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot be loving God, whom he has not seen."
(1John 5:20, 21) "If anyone makes the statement: “I love God,” and yet is hating his brother, he is a liar. For he who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot be loving God, whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him, that the one who loves God should be loving his brother also."
Vine’s Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament Words says: “Love can be known only from the actions it prompts. God’s love is seen in the gift of His Son, I John 4:9, 10. But obviously this is not the love of complacency, or affection, that is, it was not drawn out by any excellency in its objects, Rom. 5:8. It was an exercise of the Divine will in deliberate choice, made without assignable cause save that which lies in the nature of God Himself, cp. Deut. 7:7, 8.”—1981, Vol. 3, p. 21.
As much as Islam rejects the Bible word for love (agape), it can take away the notion that this is how we view our way of life and the way we interact with others around us. In the Bible it gives us these way on how we should act towards others or How Godly Love Acts: 1Co 13:4-7.
1. “Love is long-suffering and kind.”
2. “Love is not jealous.”
3. Love “does not brag, does not get puffed up.”
4. Love “does not behave indecently.”
5. Love “does not look for its own interests.”
6. Love “does not become provoked.”
7. Love “does not keep account of the injury.”
8. Love “does not rejoice over unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth.”
9. Love “bears all things.”
10. Love “believes all things.”
11. Love “hopes all things.”
12. Love “endures all things.”
13. “Love never fails.”
