Well i know how you feel, but i had to realize something for myself. When i was into astrology and everything, and i was Really into it, i noticed some things that came true, but the things that supposedly came true i had to search throughout my whole day to find out if it was true.
For example: If my horoscope said today i would meet someone who would make an impact on my life. That whole day i would try to find connections to that. I would think that my teacher at school would be the person becuz they made an interesting point in class, or i would think it was a guy i ran into at the mall that day that just stopped me to hand me a flyer. And if i couldnt find the definite conclusion to what the horoscope said i would settle with the one that was close to it, even though it probably wasnt closely related to what it said. And some of the answers the horoscopes would give would be soo typical, it would bring up things that are bound to happen in your daily life.
So after seeing the sometimes true and sometimes not true and noticing how astrology was affecting me i noticed something. It didnt change anything in my life. I was still depressed, there was really nothing exciting happening in my life like the horoscopes said. My life was still the same old, same old. To tell the truth the horoscopes and astrology stuff didnt give me that happiness i thought it would give me or that exciting feeling of knowing what was going to happen. Astrology just made me more confused about life and why things happen.
But after i truly and fully gave my life to Christ i can see things clearer than before. I actually understand where i'm going in life and why certain things happen, and every other question that astrology could not answer for me. It's crazy how we believe in things that really dont make a difference in our lives, but we still do it.
Maybe the reason why you get those looks and attitudes are becuz deep down you know it's wrong and pointless to follow astrology. Becuz as Christians we should not go into things like fortune telling, or reading palms so we can tell the future becuz we are supposed to have faith in the One who truly knows the future which is God!
So next time you read a horoscope or go deep into studying astrology and its effects on us, ask yourself these questions: Has what i am reading and doing really impacted my life, has it really changed me into a better person? Has it really given me good insight in my life? Has it gave me information on how to live a better life?
If you said no to any of these questions, then you know its time to change your way of thinking and come out of that sin! Aiite! God bless!

Any two immiscible things can be made to mix, provided you find the right mixing reagent. For example, oil and water can be made to mix by putting soap in the mixture. Now what will make christianity and astrology mix? Ahh. Astronomy!

What's going on is your are very easily influenced by others and have no real opinions of your own.
That being the case, just do whatever the last person you talked with told you to do.
Astrology is not "evil," it an early version of astronomy with entertainment value. And, we all know how much Christians hate entertainment.

By astrology I can only think you mean fortune telling which should not be practised. But study of the constellations is not wrong.
GOD CREATED THE HEAVENS
Gen.1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Psa.8:3 When I consider Thy heavens, the work of Thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which Thou hast ordained;
Psa.19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth His handywork. Psa.19:2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. Psa.19:3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Psa.19:4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
Psa.33:6 By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.
Isa.40:26 Lift up your eyes on high, and behold Who hath created these things, That bringeth out their host by number: He calleth them all by names by the greatness of His might, for that He is strong in power; not one faileth.
Jer.10:12 He hath made the earth by His power, He hath established the world by His wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by His discretion.
John 1:3 All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.
Rom.1:20 For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
I Cor.8:6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of Whom are all things, and we in Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by Whom are all things, and we by Him.
Col.1:16 For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: Col.1:17 And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.
Rev.4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created.

Instead of looking to the stars in the heavens, it would be better to look upon the "One" who created them in the first place.
