My colours are not set at the right strength? or something like that. How can i resolve this so that I can use the animations from my hotbar.

if this is a free yahoo email account you cannot use anything in your emails except plain text. if this is a paid account click the help link at the top of the page

Right click your desktop, select Properties. On the settings tab, change the colour quality to highest (or True Colour or the highest you have).

Mmmmm Hotbar...nice bit of spyware...get rid of it!
