I get cabin fever generally during the winter months and the early spring months too. This is a common problem especially if you live in a area that receives a lot of snow and ice and other bad weather. It's a disturbing experience and can be frightening too. But once Summer comes around again, my cabin fever goes away because I am able to get out of the house and do more things.

Sometimes when cabin fever is at it's worst, I can pick up some of my hobbies. That helps me not to become overwhelmed by the fact I am feeling penned in. You might want to try that the next time you experience cabin fever. Good luck to you!
