2 or more anti spy wares at once, does it increase defence or just counter act with each other, providing little or no performance. ie. windows defender and norton or AVG and norton etc...

Its like wearing two condoms.....performance might slow down and it might slow your computer down, but at least youre making sure that youre safe.

I think 1 anti spyware is enough. Sometimes if you use too many spywares, then it might just make it worse for your computer because its scanning the same files and it might conflict with each other. I think the best and sure way of protecting your computer is to just use ONE software that will protect you against spyware, adware, trojans, and viruses. That way the performance of your computer will be better and you only have to do one scan at a time with just one product.

I always make people think about their computer having sex. You need to put a condom on them to protect them...which represents the antivirus and antispyware protection. Abstinence will always be the answer to having a virus-proof computer, but as soon as your computer connects to the internet, you need to protect it.

i work for a big company and they only have one spy wares on each computer.
