Because, in general, people in that section do not talk about the Christian religion. If they did, it would be a good thing. Instead, the American Christians in that section and elsewhere yield to their urge to tell everyone else what to do and pepper their homilies with innumerable out of context quotations from the Bible and a catalogue of personal abuse in capital letters. ("How dare you wear blue underpants on a Thursday! Paul described that as an abomination in his letter to the Canadians! You are a filthy, vile, diseased CESSPIT. You are no better than an ANIMAL. You need professional help and you ought to be locked up in prison and chemically lobotomised and de-bummed! See 4 Can. 5 verses 3 to 8") That is known as preaching, and it is the most objectionable habit.

I have no problem with people coming on to ask honest questions. However, questions such as, "Did you know that Wicca, atheism, and paganism are the work of the devil and anybody that follows them will suffer eternally?" always seem to make me mad for some reason. There is a difference between talking about religion and forcing your religion. Respect the difference and you'll do fine.

We as spiritual beings should learn from All religions. A few below, I think say a lot.
All animals that roam the earth, and all birds that fly through the air, form communities like your own. 'We have left out nothing from our book.' All animals and all birds will be gathered before their Lord. 'Those men and women who deny our revelations, are deaf and dumb; they wander about in utter darkness.'
-Qur'an, Al-An'am, Surah 6:38-39
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found;
Was blind, but now I see.
-John Newton, "Amazing Grace
Patience gives peace, haste regret.
- Ibn Gabirol, "Mibhar HaPeninim"
Generosity begins with our recognition of our debt to others.
-Master Hsing Yun, "Describing the Indescribable"

being a Christian is not acceptable to some people, because we believe without seeing actual acts (even when this occur-people still do not want to believe)
they prefer a religion based on other facts. I am proud of being
a christian , and yes miracles happened to me- several times. That did not make me a believer- that just made me more secure that I know Jesus Lives !

I don't, sweetie. I just skip the questions to the next question. :-) I feel much better once I started doing that. I answered this one cuz I felt you needed a sincere answer. Some people have problems and just need to learn to skip them over, or to develop thick skin.
On the plus side, most (not all) who complain MAY be teenagers or young 20-somethings who have not learned to develop thick skin for Online Travels. :-)

people are very protective of their religious beliefs. Many people are very closed minded. they are afraid to even admit that there are other beliefs than their own. If you want to talk to more open minded people, find a forum on spirituality or religion elsewhere.

They don't want to obey the Gospel so they feel the need to destroy it and the only way to do that is to destroy the beilievers. This should be a place to get religious questions answered , but instead the non believers feel the need to destroy the faith of others.
