Bush, Congress, Judiciary, Wealthy it does not matter. None of their family are there. And yes my Dad and uncles served in WW2, lost a cousin and many friends in Nam so I do know what war costs. I realize that the military is supposed to be one big happy family and I know that they would in fact do anything for one another. However, I believe the word was fraging? Killing your own leader to avoid battle. Happened in every war. Maybe instead we need to allow only the rich to fight in wars, maybe we wouldn't have so many.

Obviously none of you realize the burden that sending people to war would be.
Think about it--you are the Commander-in-Chief and you declare war. The burden has got to be nearly unbearable to anyone. People die in war everyday, it's just what happens.
It's not President Bush's fault that none of his family members (if none are) are in the military. One person doesn't have control over the occupation of their entire family...immediate or distant.
Just because he doesn't have any family in it doesn't mean he doesn't hurt each time he hears of an American or Allied soldier that has died. What makes it even worst for him is the bias, liberal media that constantly overlooks the hundreds of towns we have graced with running water, schools, hospitals, electricity, democracy, and a freedom they have never had before (even though it is not a "complete" freedom yet). I don't have any family members in the war right now--I hope that if it is going on in 3 years when I graduate, I will be there. I wouldn't mind bombing the crap out of insurgents/terrorists from my F-18....oorah!

1) We're one big happy family, everyone is my brother and sister so he has over 2 1/2 million family members in uniform.
2) Do YOU have any family members there?
3) Yeap, he's a big ole draft dodger...not like Clinton who "did not break the laws of his country" while he was smoking the doobies in England. But don't worry, he didn't inhale.

You know the answer to that. Zip, nada, none. The great Draft Dodger in Chief has no idea what it means to shed blood for your country. Why don't those worthless twins of his enlist?
